Cairo – crowded, loud and dirty

I have been in Cairo for a 3-day business trip. I saw the Pyramids of Giza and the Khan El-Khalili  Suouq. Cairo is extremely huge, dirty, crowded, loud and can be very exhausting. If you have never been there, yet, you cannot imagine the size of the city, surrounded and covered by sand. Even the most famous attraction, the Pyramids of Giza, I found difficult to enjoy with all the people, cars and busses in the area of the pyramids itself. It was not really surprising but still annoying. So, to be honest, I am quite happy to be back. Anyway, I tried to capture some of the impressions in pictures.

See here some posts about my other international travel to Tunis and Rabat.
