LHM – All about Meat

LHM is a new restaurant located at Abdali Mall. On the third floor, where most of the eateries are located, you will find LHM, a small meat-centered restaurant as the name LHM (Lahma = Meat) suggests. We visited last week and enjoyed it. I should mention that it is not a huge place and also open to the main floor of the mall, which is nice somehow, but also a bit louder than in a closed place.

For starters, we were surprised with baked Okra topped with salt and chili, served with a herb dip. The Okra were nice and crispy and something I have never had before that way, really cool. As main dishes, we ordered the lamb neck, the lamb chops and glazed eggplant as well as the brisket quesadilla. All meat dishes were presented well, served hot, and tasted great. The lamb chops were marinated with garlic and herbs and were yummy. The lamb neck was soft and juicy. It was served with three different sauces, chili, garlic cream and a mustard sauce, if I recall correct. That should fulfill everyone’s desire, although personally I thought the meat alone tasted great and there was no need for sauce. The brisket was covered with too much cheese in my opinion, despite that we ordered it without cheese for our kids. The eggplants were a nice side and we also had fries, not pictured and they were crispy and tasty. I can really recommend the lamb chops and the lamb neck.

All in all, LHM convinced us with their food and service, however the open kitchen and open seating area make it somehow loud, so it is more for a quick bite rather than a nice relaxed lunch or dinner. But, if you are looking for a nice food option while shopping at Abdali Mall, away from the boring fast food chains, then LHM is a perfectly good choice.

Thx to the LHM Team for inviting us to a delicious lunch.
