Pizza Roma Cafe is a Pizzeria in Downtown Amman attached to the Pasha Hotel. It is owned and manage by Raymond Gordon who is not only passionate about the hotel but active in many other domains such as supporting students, providing shelter for animals or helping others to get back on track.
Pasha Hotel is a budget hotel central down town and from their terrace you have an excellent view very of the Roman Theater. I am sure this is great in Summer. If you want to explore Downtown Amman, the Souqs and the Citadel, then the place has the optimal location. It is not a top notch hotel but a lovely social place where locals and foreigners meet and the host is caring and making any effort that you enjoy your stay by giving information about Jordan or organizing a trip for you.
The Pizzeria is a small cozy place where not only the menu is a mix of Oriental and international heritage but also its guests. You get descent food for a reasonable price and it is one of the few places downtown that serves alcohol. You can find both Carakale (a local microbrewed Beer from Fuheis) and Petra Beer (another original selection of Jordanian beers).
I would like to highlight that Raymond does not only run the hotel and the restaurant/cafe but he engages himself in the community in many ways. They run a soup kitchen for the needy, collecting unwanted clothes, provide interest-free loans to students in need, try supporting people to get back on track who had some difficulties in the past, offer volunteer work for for foreign students who want to improve their Arabic, offer a free walking tour of Amman Downtown, traditional culture nights with music and dance, teaching Arabic to guests, provide foot massage, and last but not least have an animal shelter, which means you will find birds flying through the lobby, office or the occasional rabbit on the roof.
