Now, since I visited quite a few places this summer and wanted to compile a list before it is too cold to enjoy these, so here are the top places where you can sit outside, enjoy a drink and some bites, be it on a rooftop or a nice terrace in Amman, Jordan. Black Iris Rooftop in Amman
offers a 270-degree view over Amman from the 6th circle. Food and drinks are delicious and they have some really special fusion cuisine and cocktails that you should try. Situated on top of the Crown Plaza Hotel, this is the highest spot around the 6th circle. During the summer you can enjoy a magnificent view from the terrace.
District Rooftop Amman
is a great spot near Jabal Amman, where you can hang out, enjoy drinks and food alike. They have an artistic atmosphere and cool lighting. Food was great and they organize events with DJs from time to time.
The Deck Lounge – Amman Rotana
The Deck Lounge is a stylish Rooftop within the Amman Rotana Hotel at the Abdali Boulevard in the center of Western Amman. They have great drinks, good bites and argeela as well. If you are looking for a stroll on the boulevard followed by an evening located in one of the top hotels of Amman, then make sure to put The Deck Lounge on your list.
Dunia Rooftop – First Circle
Dunia Rooftop is a lovely open space within an old house located at the first circle. In Summer everything is open and serve great food and wide variety of cocktails. Often there are musical events or DJs spinning some tunes.
Eostrix Gastro Pub
might have a weird name and not the most astonishing view, but likely the best food in town. You need to taste their delicious creations which are from another planet. The various seating options including the terrace will make your dinner a great enjoyment. The staff was super friendly and the bar offers anything you can wish.
High Garden Rooftop Amman
is one of the few spots near the 4/5th circle, Wadi Saqra, and Shmesani. Centrally located, offering a great relaxed environment as well as drinks, food, and breakfast from 10 AM. Recently the name was changed to the new name High Garden Rooftop, but it is still the same place under the same management and really nice up there. You will find it next to the Dove Hotel.
Iguana Rooftop Amman
Rooftop is your spot located right at Abdali Boulevard. A great selection of drinks combined with DJ Tunes and a nice view, make this a great spot. Again, the food was delicious and the bar is just awesome. Early evenings you can enjoy some chilled electronic tunes, while later it might get a bit louder…
JR Wine Experience
is your place to go, if you want to try and taste excellent Jordanian wine, paired with cheese and cold cuts in a relaxed environment right at Abdali Boulevard. It is the only location where you can try all their different wines, from all price ranges and all types. Whether you like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, or Rosé, you will find your wine to enjoy. From time to time they organize art events, Wine Crawls through the city or tours to the Mafraq Plateau, so make sure to check their website.
Rustic
is one of my all-time favorites when it gets too relaxed atmosphere and having some beers with friends, be it in Summer or in Winter! Many different beers are on tap, good bar food available and people and staff are great.
U Roof Lounge Rooftop Amman
gets my award for the best view over Amman and the food is pretty delicious, too! They have offers to enjoy the pool during the day, have plenty of events on weekends with either DJs or live music. It is located on the roof of the Regency Palace Hotel in Amman. With its altitude it is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset and chill on their sofas while enjoying some tunes, drinks, and bites.
Veer
has a great food menu, be it for Burgers, Keto, or some more unique items such as their cheese fondue or seafood salads. They always have great offers for both, food and drinks, have a huge terrace and it is one of the few places in Amman that provides drinks and Argeela at the same time.
Zaran Rooftop
Rooftop is your choice for a stylish place with Japanese Food and cool drinks. The fusion cuisine offers you a unique dining experience of high quality while offering various drinks in a relaxed ambiance near the 3rd circle.
